Hey all!

This is my first time online in over a week!!!!!  The place (cyber cafe) is a little skeazy, not really, just dark, i guess.  Anyway,  Lots of cool stuff going on.  Met my language partenaire last night.  Her name is Manon and she got all excited when I said, "like the movie?"  Anyway, she's 20, studying psychology and is super sweet.  We have a lot of artistic passions in common and she's eager to take me to museums, tours excetera, so I think it's going to be kind of awesome. 
We went out last night and I got hot and heavy (in the strictly club/dance/music sense) with some Parisian, sang karaoke and looked at all the beautiful men.  So many gorgeous guys here.  So many.  But they're french.  Bummer.
The other day in class we had a very heated discussion concerning the differences btw. american and french sexuality.  There are lots.
Ginon, my 'mere d'accueil' is really nice and a good cook!  She's got certain ideas about how clean things should be kept that I am trying to keep up with.  I don't always know what she wants from me, but I've got 3 months to work on it!  We talk at meals and things and understand eachother really well I would say.  I did well on my TEF, french evil exhaustiong multi-part proficiency exam, so I get to take the translation class I wanted to take instead of stupid grammar (which I should probably be working on anyway).  I am one of the better french speakers in our group of 27 girls and 2guys (!), which is good, because I was afraid of being on the low end.
What else....It looks like I'll be taking Translation, cinema, painting, the immigrant experience, pol-soci-eco situation of france and french cultural patterns (req.), but we've got a week of add-drop.
Tomorrow there's a non-profit org fair where I get to choose my community service work and look for an activity to fulfill my 'club' req.  Exciting exciting.  Also I'm going to pay crazy amounts of money to people for wine tasting and provencale cooking classes.
The group is great and friendly.  Already I've met a cousin of the levitt-ribles of Norwich, VT and someone whose grandmother went to putney with dr. granddaddy (my grampa)!!  We also all had to buy cell phones for here and we all bought the same one bc it was the cheapest.  I bought a whole book of disney princess stickers to personalize mine.  (Right now, my phone has Cinderella's gloves on it, actually pretty cool).  Books of disney princess stickers ar a good way to make friends!  :)

 So, yesterday morning, I woke up having just dreamed that I was going to make waffles, but I had to go to work that morning.  So today, I took the morning off to make myself waffles.  Turns out, I'm a waffle-making god.  Then I decided to do one of these questionnaire things: fun!

Berlin, Germany or the Shetlands Islands in Scotland…I’m not sure which is farther.

What would your last meal be?

My last meal would be extended over the better part of a day, because I am very good at eating and not getting full.  Many kinds of salads, steak, chicken, grilled vegetables, lots of good bread, fruits, pies, ice cream, scones, chocolate something, sour candy of some kind, more bread, pizza, pastas, and drinks: wine, beer, lemonade, seltzer, fountain sodas, water, milkshakes, hot cross buns, cakes, tea, good music and comfy chairs.

I just ate the entire contents of my fridge, including a Pint of ice cream.  I'm not sure whether the need to vomit is from the actual physical sensation of the gargantuan calorie intake or the mental response to my crazy stress eating!

Hey all,
Just got out of CIT where they told me a shit ton was wrong with my computer!  Yay!  Now I have to wait for two hours in the library while my computer tries to scan itself.  Blegh.  Also, my tummy hurts.  :(  Watched a really fun movie last night in my room.  People falling off things and hurting themselves never gets old. 

I must NOT forget to post my group assignment for cinema this time! 
Also, Keep having dreams about exes. 
Also, Have gained weight. 
Also, Feel like running away to small town somewhere in France and opening own cafe and wearing a cute uniform and making beautiful chocolates and pastries and foods and having it be a super laid back kind of place and the old French guys will play Bocce outside and then come and sit and have a drink and chat and little kids will come sit at the counter and people would wave as they passed and....yeah.  I've got it all planned out, as you can see.

Serendipitous Moment of the Day:
While at a Psych study, a classmate asked if I were ready for the test tomorrow.  Fuck me, I had no idea we had a test. 
This happened last time we had a test and I failed it.  Good times.  Wish me luck.

Got up this morning and hung around in my room in my underwear painting on my walls.
